Ella Langley has reached another major career milestone after receiving nine nominations at the 2026 CMA Awards, as the global success of “Choosin’ Texas” continues. The nominations see Langley recognised in every category for which she is eligible and equal the record for the most CMA Awards nominations received by a female artist in a single year. Ella Langley earns nine CMA nominations Langley is nominated for Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year for “Dandelion”. Both “Choosin’ Texas” and “Be Her” have earned nominations for Single of the Year and Song of the Year, while “Choosin’ Texas” is also nominated for Music Video of the Year. Her collaboration with Morgan Wallen, “I Can’t Love You Anymore”, completes the list with a Musical Event of the Year nomination. The winners will be announced at the CMA Awards ceremony on 18 November at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. “Choosin’ Texas” continues chart dominance The nominations arrive as “Choosin’ Texas” continues its international success. The single topped the UK Official Singles Chart earlier this month and has now spent its 11th consecutive week, and 21st week overall, at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Worldwide streams for “Choosin’ Texas” have exceeded 1.6 billion, while its lyric video has reached 90 million views on YouTube. The Platinum certified single has also surpassed 700,000 UK sales. “Dandelion” drives UK breakthrough Langley’s success with “Choosin’ Texas” has helped establish 2026 as a breakthrough year for the singer songwriter in the UK. Her debut album, “Dandelion”, entered the UK chart at No. 7 following its release in April and has since been certified Silver, with more than 200,000 sales. The record has also produced the Top 30 hit “Be Her”, which has achieved Silver certification, alongside further chart success for “Bottom of Your Boots” and the Morgan Wallen collaboration “I Can’t Love You Anymore”. Langley’s earlier catalogue has also experienced renewed attention during 2026. “You Look Like You Love Me” has received Gold certification, while “Weren’t For The Wind” has been certified Silver. “Dandelion” reaches No. 1 in America Released through SAWGOD and Columbia Records, “Dandelion” was executive produced by Langley alongside Miranda Lambert and Ben West. The album represents Langley’s most personal body of work to date, with its title using the dandelion as a symbol of identity, independence, resilience and freedom. Across the record, Langley combines personal storytelling with themes intended to connect with wider experiences, reflecting a growing confidence in her songwriting. “Dandelion” reached No. 1 on both the Billboard 200 and Top Country Albums charts and has earned RIAA Platinum certification.
