Country music superstar Luke Combs has been presented with three Guinness World Records certificates following his historic run of shows at Wembley Stadium. The awards were presented backstage by Official Guinness World Records Adjudicator Will Munford before Combs took to the stage for the second night of his sold-out “My Kinda Saturday Night Tour” last weekend. Luke Combs becomes first solo country artist to headline Wembley Stadium Combs secured a new Guinness World Record after becoming the first solo country artist to headline London’s iconic Wembley Stadium. The milestone was achieved on Friday, 31 July, during the first of three sold-out performances at the 90,000-capacity venue. Each show attracted a full house of devoted fans, known affectionately as “Bootleggers”, making the concerts the first at Wembley to feature a solo country musician as the headline act. The Wembley dates formed part of Combs’ 23-date “My Kinda Saturday Night Tour”, which supports his sixth studio album, “The Way I Am”, featuring the singles “Back in the Saddle”, “Sleepless in a Hotel Room” and “Be By You”. Billboard Country Airplay records recognised In addition to his Wembley achievement, Combs was recognised for two long-standing Billboard Country Airplay records. He holds the record for the most consecutive No. 1 singles on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart from debut, with five chart-topping hits: “Hurricane”, “When It Rains It Pours”, “One Number Away”, “She Got the Best of Me” and “Beautiful Crazy”. Combs also holds the record for the most consecutive No. 1 singles on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart from one album, achieving seven successive chart-toppers with: “Beer Never Broke My Hear”, “Even Though I’m Leaving”, “Does to Me” featuring Eric Church, “Lovin’ On You”, “Better Together”, “Forever After All” and “Cold as You”. Another milestone for Luke Combs The latest Guinness World Records recognition adds another remarkable achievement to Combs’ career, further cementing his status as one of the biggest names in modern country music.
