Country on the Common Set for Big Summer Weekend in London

Country music is heading back to South London this summer as Country on the Common prepares to transform Tooting Common into a weekend filled with live music, southern-inspired food and festival entertainment.
Taking place across July 4 and 5, the event mixes big live performances with a relaxed outdoor festival atmosphere, bringing together country, blues and Americana sounds in the heart of the capital.
Saturday’s headline slot belongs to legendary blues performer Seasick Steve, while Nashville artist Cody Pennington tops the bill on Sunday. Across the weekend, festivalgoers can also catch sets from Kezia Gill, Elles Bailey, Twinnie and tribute favourites One Night in Nashville and Luke Combs UK. Vernon Kay will also bring his Country Jukebox DJ set to the lineup.
The experience goes beyond the music too, with visitors able to try everything from line dancing and lasso lessons to rodeo bull riding and axe throwing. Street food vendors, whiskey bars and family-friendly activities will also be spread throughout the site.
As country music continues to grow across the UK, events like Country on the Common are helping bring that festival spirit to new audiences, offering a full weekend of live entertainment without leaving London.
