Stars have lined up to pay tribute to Engelbert Humperdinck as he celebrates his 90th birthday. The legendary artist, known for his hits Release Me and The Last Waltz, is due to celebrate the milestone this weekend (Saturday, May 2) and to mark the occasion, OK!Good Records have lined up scores of stars to wish him well in a specially recorded video. Celebrity Line-Up Features Music Icons The video features fellow musical artists, past collaborators, entertainers and longtime friends. These include Wayne Newton, Gloria Gaynor, Pat Boone, Lulu, Micky Dolenz, Judy Collins, Deana Martin, Angélica María, Lupita Infante, Tommy Roe and Janet Devlin. Engelbert’s most recent album, All About Love, was recorded in Nashville and released by OK!Good Records in 2023. It features reinterpretations of songs such as If You Don’t Know Me By Now, When Will I See You Again, and You’ll Never Find Another Love Like Mine. Celebration Tour 2026 This year, to celebrate his legacy and his seven-decade-long career, he is embarking on The Celebration Tour which will see him visit New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia, the US and Europe. Release Me was Engelbert’s breakout 1967 hit which famously knocked The Beatles from the top spot for the first time since 1963. Music Reaches New Audiences In more recent years, Engelbert’s music has reached new audiences; A Man Without Love found a new audience after it was featured in the Marvel series, Moon Knight. Similarly, Quando, Quando, Quando was featured in The Umbrella Academy TV series. Engelbert also recorded a new version of I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles – West Ham United’s anthem – for the 2022 film Bullet Train, which starred Brad Pitt.
