Academy of Country Music Announces Details for ACM Awards

    The Academy of Country Music (ACM) have unvieled preliminary details for this year’s Acaemy of Country Music Awards. The  61st edition of the awards will be held on Sunday, May 17 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Ticket Info and Supporting Events Pre-sale tickets – the link for which can be obtained by signing up for the ACM A List – will go on sale on Wednesday, February 25 at 10am Pacific Time. General sale tickets for the event go on sale on Friday, February 27 at 10am Pacific Time on AXS.com. In announcing the details for the event, the ACM announced two supporting events to be held during the same weekend as the AMAs. The first is ACM Lifting Lives Country on the Green: Riley Green and Friends. The Alabama country star – who is going on tour with his Cowboy As It Gets show in April – will headline the event at Topgolf Las Vegas on Friday, May 15. Country Beach Bash More acts for the event are due to be announced and proceeds will go to ACM Lifting Lives, the ACM’s charitable arm which aims to improve lives through the power of music. On Saturday, May 16, the Mandalay Bay Beach resort will host ACM Next Wave: Country’s Beach Bash. The ceremony will be streamed on Amazon Prime. Last year’s awards were held in Frisco, Texas and hosted by “The Queen of Country”, Reba McEntire. Ella Langley went home with the most awards which included New Female Artist of the Year and Single of the Year for her song, You Look Like You Love Me, a duet with Riley Green.
